Kenneth E. Miller

Kenneth E. Miller (* 6. Juli 1926 in Chapman, Kansas; † 15. Januar 2016 in Madison, Wisconsin) war ein US-amerikanischer Politikwissenschaftler und Hochschullehrer.^[1]

Nach seinem Militärdienst studierte Kenneth E. Miller Politikwissenschaft an der University of Kansas und schloss dort sein Studium mit dem Bachelor- und Magistergrad ab. Seine Promotion erfolgte an der Johns Hopkins University. Von 1955 bis zum Eintritt in den Ruhestand 1993 lehrte und forschte er an der Rutgers University. An dieser Universität hatte er die erste Professur für Politikwissenschaft inne. Miller beschäftigte sich vor allem mit dem Vergleich politischer Systeme, ein besonderer Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit war das politische System Dänemarks. Hierfür hielt er sich ein Jahr lang zu Forschungszwecken an der Universität Kopenhagen auf.
