Bis zur Neuordnung bestand der Kanton Mortagne-au-Perche aus den 14 Gemeinden La Chapelle-Montligeon, Comblot, Corbon, Courgeon, Feings, Loisail, Mauves-sur-Huisne, Mortagne-au-Perche, Réveillon, Saint-Denis-sur-Huisne, Saint-Hilaire-le-Châtel, Saint-Langis-lès-Mortagne, Saint-Mard-de-Réno und Villiers-sous-Mortagne. Sein Zuschnitt entsprach einer Fläche von 163,06 km2.
