Cy Kendall
Cyrus Willard Kendall (* 10. März 1898 in St. Louis, Missouri, Vereinigte Staaten; † 22. Juli 1953 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, Kalifornien, Vereinigte Staaten) war ein US-amerikanischer Filmschauspieler.
Leben
Zwischen 1935 und 1950 trat er in über 140 Filmen auf. Kendalls stämmiger Körperbau, sein kantiges Kinn und seine tiefe Stimme eigneten sich perfekt für Rollen als Schlaumeier, beispielsweise als Polizist und Polizeichef, Gefängnisdirektor, Militäroffizier, Barkeeper, Reporter und Gangster.
Im Old-Time-Radio spielte Kendall Richter Carter in dem Drama The Remarkable Miss Tuttle.[1] Im frühen Fernsehen spielte er Detektiv Jonas Flint in der Spielshow Armchair Detective.[2]
